Hi!

I am Jodelene Weir.

The only Jodelene Weir on the planet and the only Jodelene in Canada. 

Think I'm lying? Prove me wrong! 

So now that we've established my unique place in this world, we'll change focus to my weblog.  Now commonly known as the 'blog'.

I first started blogging in 2004 and realized that I had a knack for comical writing (also referred to as my life).  I took a break from publishing my daily observances and rants until 2008 when I discovered that I had a baby in my belly.  What better material than writing about the joys of pregnancy and child birth!  This new revelation turned into a new blog called Adventures in Monkeyland which describes in detail, everything about parenting and my Son, Mason [Born Feb 2009]. 

Realizing that some of my non-parent friends could care less about me whining about the lack of sleep and the progress of Mason's growth, I created this secondary blog.  So what's up with this weird Latin name? Vero Nihil Verius is the Weir motto for 'nothing truer than truth'.  Since honesty is very important to me (and I'm a horrible liar), I figured that it was the best name.
